The short version

Medical aesthetics clinic SEO: what happened.

How did the clinic grow its Google traffic 8.9×?

The site had problems that held back every page: review markup Google's rules don't allow, slow pages, broken analytics, and errors repeated across the site. We fixed the foundation first, starting in April 2026, and monthly clicks rose from about 500 to over 1,100 in May, then to 3,000 to 5,500 a month from June to September. July to September 2026 brought 14,932 clicks, against 1,681 a year earlier.

Our team ran the work. The figures are Google Search Console property totals. We compare July to September 2025 with the same months in 2026, so seasonality doesn't flatter the result.

The client asked us not to name them.

The starting point

What we found, before changing anything.

Every program starts with a dated baseline. Before we started, the clinic's Google clicks had been flat at roughly 400 to 600 a month for nine months.

The audit found four problems:

  • Review markup Google doesn't allow. The structured data claimed star ratings and embedded reviews about the clinic itself. Google's rules don't allow self-serving review markup. It carried a manual-action risk.
  • Slow pages. No page caching, heavy images, externally loaded fonts, and shop scripts loading on pages that had nothing to do with the shop.
  • Analytics that undercounted. Visits and conversions weren't being recorded properly. Nobody could see which pages brought patients.
  • Errors repeated across the site. Location-page template errors, a wrong postal code across the site, and an outdated CRA guide reference on 36 pages.
What we did

Fix the foundation. Then let the pages work.

Removed the risky review markup

Self-serving review stars and embedded reviews came out of the schema. What's left matches Google's rules and the page content.

Made the site fast

Page caching, WebP images, self-hosted fonts, and shop scripts removed from non-shop pages.

Fixed the analytics

Visits, bookings, calls and form leads are now recorded properly. Results can be tied to real patients, not guessed.

Corrected the site-wide errors

Location-page template errors fixed, the postal code corrected everywhere, and the outdated CRA guide reference updated on all 36 pages.

All of it stayed within the advertising rules that apply to a physician-directed clinic in Ontario. See how on our med spa marketing and healthcare SEO pages.

The results

8.9× the Google clicks, and 447 leads in four weeks.

Google Search Console, property-level totals, July to September 2025 vs July to September 2026. Past results don't predict future results.

  • Clicks: about 500 a month before we started, 1,171 in May 2026, 3,144 in June, then 4,756, 5,476 and 4,700 from July to September.
  • Visibility: impressions grew from 150,818 to 1,214,826 a quarter, and the average position moved from page 5 (41.3) to page 2 (11.8).
  • Leads: in the four weeks to 17 October 2026, organic search drove 447 booking clicks, calls and form leads, measured in GA4. GA4 missed 5 of those 28 days, so the real figure is higher.
For your clinic

What your clinic can take from this.

  1. Check your schema for review stars. Many clinic sites mark up their own reviews. Google doesn't allow it. It's a risk you don't need.
  2. Fix the foundation before buying content. Speed, analytics and site-wide errors held back every page here. New treatment pages would have hit the same ceiling.
  3. Measure against the same months last year. Aesthetics demand is seasonal. A year-on-year comparison is the honest one.
  4. Make sure analytics count bookings. If your tracking misses conversions, you can't tell which pages bring patients.

Answers

Case study questions, answered.

How long did it take to see results?

We started in April 2026. Monthly clicks more than doubled in May and passed 3,000 a month in June. The biggest gains came two to five months in, once Google had recrawled the fixed site.

Why isn't the clinic named?

The client asked us not to name them. Every figure comes from their own Search Console and GA4 accounts, compared on the same months a year apart.

Was this paid advertising?

No. These are organic Google Search clicks, reported by Google Search Console, which doesn't include ads.

Would the same work help my clinic?

It depends on what's holding your site back. Your free audit checks the same things we found here: structured data, speed, analytics and site-wide errors. It also covers your rankings, competitors and AI visibility, and ranks the fixes by impact.
